Haigamine, which commands a view of Kure’s city center, is a 30-minute drive up a mountain road. At the top is a radio tower and a magnificent view. The road becomes thick and treacherous when it gets dark. It is definitely best to reach the summit in daylight on the way there. On the way back, it is safe to drive carefully in the dark.
